Pork Chops with Apples

MAKES 4-6 SERVINGS

Nothing says fall dinner like pork chops with apples.
Be careful when cooking the chops, not to overdo them.
Dry pork chops are a definite disappointment.
These are great served with a side of rice or polenta.

5 Pork chops
2 onions
1/8 cup oil
2-3 tart apples, sliced
2 tablespoons Betty's spice mix
1-3 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

1. In a large frying pan, brown onions in oil. Add pork chops, apples,
and spice mix, continue browning.
2. Cook pork chops for approximately 2 -3 minutes on each side,
or until browned.
3. Continue cooking with a covered pan until done.
Pour balsamic vinegar in pan to loosen when things start sticking.
