Desire

i've been in a state of wanting for years
     i've waken heavy with it
          sleeping next to me
    like a lover on my pillow
it's this wanting that makes me wake
       that keeps me alive,
           that gives me breath
i inhale desire
     exhale a blue breath of satisfaction
